Unhappy Need help with centering a horizontal menu

1. I am having difficulty centering my licensed horizontal udm4 menu
I have tried the work-around found on http://www.udm4.com/demos/horizontal...ive-center.php but I am not using php and my style checker (Top Style Pro) keeps rejecting the style (and it doesn't work anyway). It refers to an .ini file but all I have is horizontal-relative-left.js.
I have tried putting the list inside a container - to no avail (both in a text-align: center div and in a table).
2. Additionally the text on my navigation bar is left, even though I have specified center in the udm-custom.js file.
I am not a js writer, but used the previous version udm3 successfully and managed to center my menus. Any help greatly appreciated.
Text files of my html, style sheet & udm-custom.js attached
