Changing CSS properties syntax on #style a {}

Hey guys, Ok, I'm accessing some CSS properties from JS and have a syntax problem that's been stumping my tired brain - if you could help, that'd be ace. So, I know how to change the background-position property on a regular style Code: --------- #menu_button {
