Halo1 writes "Demonstrating it's not just about Flash, Apple has officially rejected for the first time another alternative iPhone development environment following its controversial iPhone SDK Agreement changes. Even though RunRev proposed to retool its HyperCard-style development environment to directly expose all of the iPhone OS's APIs, Steve Jobs still rejected its proposal. The strength of RunRev's business case, with a large-scale iPad deployment project in education hinging on the availability of its tool, does not bode well for projects that have less commercial clout. Salient point: at last February's shareholders' meeting, Jobs went on the record saying that something like HyperCard on the iPad would be great, 'but someone would have to create it.'"pa href="http://www.facebook.com/sharer.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Fdevelopers.slashdot.org% 2Fstory%2F10%2F05%2F17%2F1849215%2FiPhone-SDK-Agreement-Shuts-Out-HyperCard-Clone" target="_blank" title="Share on Facebook"img src="http://a.fsdn.com/sd/facebook_icon_large.png"/a a href="http://twitter.com/home?status=iPhone+SDK+Agreement+Shuts+Out+HyperCa rd+Clone%3A+http%3A%2F%2Fbit.ly%2FdyEea2" target="_blank" title="Share on Twitter"img src="http://a.fsdn.com/sd/twitter_icon_large.png"/a/ppa href="http://developers.slashdot.org/story/10/05/17/1849215/iPhone-SDK-Agreement-Shuts-Out-HyperCard-Clone?from=rss"Read more of this story/a at Slashdot./p pa href="http://feedads.g.doubleclick.net/~at/SQ2cI2fmCK13614LytUIugly8k0/0/da"img src="http://feedads.g.doubleclick.net/~at/SQ2cI2fmCK13614LytUIugly8k0/0/di" border="0" ismap="true"/img/abr/ a href="http://feedads.g.doubleclick.net/~at/SQ2cI2fmCK13614LytUIugly8k0/1/da"img src="http://feedads.g.doubleclick.net/~at/SQ2cI2fmCK13614LytUIugly8k0/1/di" border="0" ismap="true"/img/a/pimg src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/Slashdot/slashdotDevelopers/~4/fkhRFtuRkR0" height="1" width="1"/
