Default menu item class not working for VISITED

im trying to design a small menu around the main menu but still in the same UL, all seems fine except for some reason the new class tag is not applied if its VISITED....cant seem to get it...

nevermind, fixed it with some extra classes defining only ".udm li.minimen a:visited"
