Red face X/Y offsets not working

Hi,

We are testing out UDM4 to use for a new site we are working on (and are currently in the trial period for it). It does everything we need and I love it, but there's one minor-but-aggrevating problem I haven't been able to figure out.

Firstly, the menus pop up in completely different places on IE7 versus firefox - on IE they go the full length of the navbar item to the right, and on Firefox they appear completely centered over the navbar item.

This isn't so much a problem, except that I can't get them to obey the x/y offsets in the config file at all - I want the menus to pop up centered but underneath the navbar item and (ideally) not occlude the original item.

I have a feeling it's something obvious because everything else has gone quite smoothly.

You can see one of the menus in action here:

Thanks very much!

When I try to visit your site, I get an error that reads in part:

I notice you have several validation errors in your web page. This could be the cause of some of your problems. Secondly, I'm not sure what the javascripts besides UDM are doing, but you might temporarily remove them from the page, just to see if they are causing some kind of conflict.

Hi there,

Thanks for the reply. I've taken care of the validation errors and temporarily suspended the other javascript, though that's just the very standard Coldfusion form validation stuff.

The page now validates and has no other javascript besides UDM. The strange thing is that all the other options in the config file are working - it is only the X/Y offsets on the menu popups that aren't.

Any other suggestions? This is the only thing keeping us from using UDM4 as everything else is exactly as we need it.

Thanks!
