2007-11-26: The XHTML2 Working Group has published a Working Draft of CURIE Syntax 1.0. The aim of this document is to outline an abbreviated syntax for expressing Uniform Resource Identifiers (URIs). The proposed technology does not target the XHTML Family Markup Languages exclusively.
