Having trouble between IE and Firefox (I read the stickys)

Im so confused cos im pretty much new to div layouts and i made a myspace profile for a friend. It worked fine in internet explorer, then he started getting messages from people saying that the page was all over the place, i opened up firefox and realized the page was a mess.. can someone please...
